Reset the BIOS to default while in the System Setup menu.

IF the hard drive is not recognized then most likely failure has occurred.

Power the desktop down and remove the power.

Check the power and data cable are securely connected to the hard drive.

Most likely time to replace the hard drive.

I have tried all of these things and it still says no drive. thanks for your input. I was afraid that the hard drive was done for. I just wanted a second opinion.
