I have an older GW 2000 4SX/33. An overdrive CPU has been added. However I do not know what type of parallel printer port this system has. Does anyone know?

I am not sure if the port supports: EPP, ECP or bi-directional IO. I am trying to make a parallel port CD-ROM work with this system to load some new software but the CD-ROM software fails to find the drive. The vendor, EXP, claims the port should be ECP. Using the CMOS setup does not allow one to configure this. I did find one jumper, J28, on Motherboard that offers output only or bi-directional. I tried both options and it still fails.

I would have thought that ECP was almost standard by the time the 4SX/33 was offered.
