And does it read CD's? All the files on a CD are Read-Only normally. What actually happens (or doesn't happen) when you insert a disk?
P5B Deluxe & Plextor PX-130a
I have full updates on both motherboard (0806) and Px-130a firmware (1.03), yet it dosnt work. My dvd/cd writer shows up as read-only everywhere - even in 3rd part software such Roxio Suite 9, and Ahead Nero 7.5.
Any clues?
