If your Southbridge fried from heat, then the extra heatsink and good case airflow should solve your problem. If it was fried due to voltage spiking, then your PSU could be at fault, or your MB may just have been faulty/defective.

i dont think i had voltage spikes. cause everthing was around normal, so i guess it was either faulty or heat did it, i have a heat sink on it now. so i will see what happens
now my cpu.mobo temps are around. since its alittle cooler today. when i check it yesterday it was hot outside
cpu- 30 c/86 f
mobo- 23 c/ 73 f

thanks for the response

Good to hear from ya !!

Sounds like your system is running decent now / as for your previous south bridge chipset burning up / it may have just been a weak player and your previous system overheat problem finished it off. Now that you have good air flow and a better cpu cooler I would expect not to see any more problems / especially with the south bridge heat sink in place :)

I would however / pay heed to @ Please's advice and keep a sharp eye on your PSU voltages for awhile especially when you push your system (run defrag & anti virus scanner & a spyware cleaner all at the same time / then check your voltages / your power supply unfortunately is a low quality unit / as such I personally have never found them reliable. If it seems to tow the load then that awesome :) !!!! but if it so much as burped I would replace it with an enermax or Antec Tru Power 550 watt

keep in touch and let us know how the future treats you (well I hope) you dont have to have problems ya know to say hello !!!!

joe
