Hello,

I'm not using the SATA on my system.
My system was a upgrade, so I used my ATA Maxtors with round cables and my MSI G4ti4800SE video card.

I have a Maxtor controller in a RAID0 config with 4 80gig drives.
I had to ENABLE ATA config and DISABLE the on board Promise Controller.

I think the new BIOS ver. 1008 is out to fix your problem?
Check the ASUS website for their download.
