Hi,

I'm trying to set up a SATA RAID using two 80 GB drives. I have successfully set up the RAID in the bios and when the system posts I get a message saying that the RAID is functional. However Windows XP refuses to see it. When I try to update the driver for the Promise RAID controller using the instal disc that came with the MOBO I get a message stating that the driver is not certified by Microsoft. I install it anyway and an error message comes up stating that the device could not be started (error code 10). This also happens when I use the latest driver version from the ASUS website.

System:
ASUS P4C800 deluxe MOBO
Pentium 4 3.00 C processor
Windows XP Home
4 x 512 MB PC3200 RAM (2 GB)
