Hey guys,

I've been getting wierd errors with my computer for quite a while. Sometimes when I turn on my computer, it gives me an error saying bad bios checksum or something like that. It then continues to check the floppy drive and cd drive for the bios drivers. I put in my asus CD and it asks for me to reboot.

Sometimes when I try to reboot it shows nothing on the screen, the computer fans are running but my monitor goes on stand-by mode and I can't get it to boot. This is usually fixed by rebooting my computer several times. When I do get to boot up it gives me an "Overclocking Failed" error and I have to reconfigure the BIOS settings to get into Windows.

Can you guys help me with this? Thanks.

Welcome dystorsion...........

Try clearing the CMOS with your computer unplugged of course...:D

Then on bootup go into the bios and choose default setting according to your manual and see if this helps.
