Is Intel going to release any faster P4 than the 2.4 Ghz that will support 400 Mhz bus speeds?

Probably not! They need to start pushing all the 533 stuff now.

I think the 533 is backward compatable though, I'll find out as I am curious about this also..........

Please let me know if the 533 Mhz bus speed chips are backward compatible. I would like to be able to put something faster than a 2.4 ghz P4 into my 400 mhz dell motherboard.

I hope they are backward compatible. However, when I checked Dell's site it said the fastest processor my current 1.9 ghz 400 mhz bus speed system could take was the 2.4. Hopefully that's wrong.
