I have a PCChips P23g ver 1.0 motherboard installed in my PC. I currently have 2 512MB DDR ram cards installed and the computer works fine. I recently purchased 2 new 1GB DDR-2 533MHz Ram cards. According to the PCChips website my motherboard should accept these RAM chips with no problem, but when I install they they dont work. I originally thougt that it was a problem with the RAM itself, but I have exchanged the RAM for new ones threetimes already and I still cant get them to work. It must be a motherboard problem. I am not sure how to fix this problem. I really need more RAM to run windows 7 properly. Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

I finally got it to work. I cleared the CMOS, removed the old ram, cleared the CMOS again, installed the new RAM, cleared the CMOS one last time, then booted up my PC. I went through BIOS setup and now it finally works!!!!
