I like the second article, very interesting... Actually, my Comcast 1.5m/256k speed is more than sufficient for my needs, so I don't feel a driving urge to upgrade it right now.
I was somewhat skeptical of the possibility of increasing the speed anyway, it wouldn't make sense for them to leave that in the hands of the consumer.
