I tried formatting my PC a few days ago. I wanted to install Windows XP Pro (had W2000) but it doesn't seem to want to load. This keeps popping up every time I start my computer:

Auto-detecting USB Mass Storage Devices
00 USB mass storage devices found and configured

Overclocking failed! Please enter Setup to re-configure your system.
Press F1 to Run Setup
Press F2 to load default vauls and continue

I'm not sure on what to do. The PC I tried formatting won't even start up anymore. When I press F2, windows XP loads for a second then it freezes up on me.

Any suggestions?

Here is what I'm running:

P4C800-e Deluxe
(4) 512 Kingston RAM
P4 Intel Processor

p.s. One more thing: everytime I "Save" anything that I change in Setup, and restart, the monitor always shuts down until I shut down the PC and then start it up again. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Thanks in advance

try resetting the cmos
remove the power cord
move the cmos jumper from pins 1 and 2 to 2 and 3 and then back again to 1 and 2
when you list your specs include everything, power supply is one of the most important specs
