I am attempting to repair an internal plug on an HP Pavilion ze1110. After removing all the screws it seems the darn thing has something in the center that just refuses to let loose. Can anyone tell me what the heck I'm missing here??
TIA

YEP... HP..

Infamous for those HIDDEN catches.. and almost each one is different...

You have to go to the HP/Compaq site, feed in support for the model you are looking for.
Then search in Documetns until you find out how to open the particular case you are looking for.

As I said, each one is different and unique.

U can find the manual here Pavilion ze1110 manual. But i was wondering.... why are u trying to take apart a laptop? U better watch out with that, sometimes they have tiny ribbon cables attached to the case that are almost impossible to get back in.

Yep, take a good look at the manual. I had that happen to a Toshiba 460CDT, and it was not pretty to say the least.

Any as to why anyone would take apart a laptop: Obviously out of curiosity, to repair it, or to make an upgrade.
