I may have fixed it out of sheer luck. i restarted my computer and when the windows login screen came up, i did not log in. I went to my outlook sign in tab and it now requires i sign in. Was that the problem?
I have no idea how this is connected and would prefer to manage my email seperately from any other program, but I may not be able to do that.
if you have any suggestions i would be happy to hear them. Thanks

Thanks. I had tried to uncheck the box , but it did not respond. Each box was checked. My sign in name, my password, and the box below saying keep my signed in. It was like the screen was frozen and i could not click on anything. I was able to delete the info, but when I put it back in it automatically6 checked it again. So frustrating.
I hope it is fixed, although now it keeps giving me a drop down menu on my name bar with my password as a choice for my user name, along with my actually sign in name. I highlighted it and deleted it as a choice, so i hope it is permanently deleted. Thanks again.
