I am trying to send an email with a 4MB attachment and for some reason I am unable too, and it eventually times out.

Is the fault with my settings, my ISP or am I just 'thick" ?

Hi,

Your ISP may have a file size limit for an attachment. Although 4MB is quite small. You could try compressing the file with WINZIP or any other normal compression utility.

You could also try using a file sending web sites

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=file+sending+web+sites&meta=

AUsing a different e-mail account such as Gmail may also work.
