The time that is shown is sometimes the timing of the POP3 server, meaning it is the time of the server that was in session with your computer to send you the email.

If not, make sure your windows is setup with the right timing (look at the bottom right corner of the screen where it tells the time, and make sure is displays the correct time)........You can even double click on it and go to the time zone tab, and make sure the right time zone is set.........
