I just switched to Office 365 with Outlook 365. I would like a new mail notification to display a pop-up and a sound of my choice.

Currently I have it set to play a specific .wav sound. If I switch to the combination of "Play a sound" and "Display a Desktop Alert", I get a pop-up and a wimpy bell sound.

Is there anyway to get my sound and the pop-up?

I am running a NUC with Windows 8.1, 64-bit.

You can Browse to any of the various preinstalled sounds in Windows Change the sound played when an email message arrives - Microsoft Support

Tried that and it didn't work. I guess I will live with the short comings of "updated" versions of Windows Outlook.
