HI all,

I have 3 XP pc's which all have outlook 2007 loaded.

The issue is outlook will freeze when pressing the new email button generally after a cold boot and loading outlook for the first time, but will happen randomly during the day, usually around 2 - 3 times a day. here is a list of things I have already tried:

1. started outlook in safe mode
2. stopped all startup programs including non microsoft services
3. antivirus (Norton) has been run and no problems found
4. all updates applied

I have attached the crash log file. would be great to hear any ideas on this one.

Cheers

Neil

Have you got any installed add-ins on your Outlook?

Can you supply me with any windows event logs?

Click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, then click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management... From there, click Event Log, and then Windows Logs, Application... Search down the list for any app-crashes related to Outlook, and copy paste the general tab here.

Also, This Microsoft Resource page might be of relevance.
