I can recieve email messages but not send any. When I try I get the message

Unable to connect to the server.(account:'mail.btinternet.com', SMPT Server:'mail.btinternet.com'. Error Number:0x800ccc60

I have been using my email for sometime without any problems so do not know what this is or how to fix it

Welcome to TSF....

There is something wrong with the SMTP server setting in the Outlook, I would suggest contacting the btinternet tech support and/or the web site and when logged in find the email settings for outlook and make sure your settings are correct. It might be that btinternet changed the SMPT settings and did not tell you.

Hi There

I have tried contacting btinternet and spent an hour on the phone with their helpdesk when they used GoToAsist to run a wide variety of changes and checks. They used both the outlook and the outlook express but to no avail at all.

Can you give any further help ?
