Optimize Computer?

Does anybody have useful software tools to recomend to me? My Emachines W4605 Is acting very sluggish and slow and error riddled. :mad::mad::mad::4-dontkno:upset: It takes about 8 mins to boot, that's insane. Also it takes forever to open a program. Can anyone reccomend to me some free downloadable software to help me fix my slow Laptop? Please Help!:upset::upset::upset::upset::upset::upset::upset::upset::upset::mad::mad::mad::mad:
