Somehow my monitor driver unloaded and it installed 'Default Monitor'. Now I'm stuck @ 60hz.

I tried loading the inf for my monitor from the CTX site. When I select 'Optimal', it stays @ 60hz. However I can select 85hz, and it will stay at that. Unless I go into a game and then it defaults to 60. When I change resolutions, it will show the maximum refresh rate capable in the list of refresh rates. Optimal *should* (did before) auto-select the one at the top of the list. But it's not This is really getting on my nervs. I might have to reload Win98 just for this stupid little problem

I didn't solve it. It solved itself. Usually if you leave some cookie crumbs inside your case the gremlins will take them as a peace offering and fix the problem for you :q
