I`m trying to get onto a forum but when i click for it i get the following message>>"Oops something went wrong!

Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your request again or if you know who your site administrator is let them know too."
I contacted the forum people by phone and they said that it is in my computer settings. Do you have suggestions as to where to look for the particular settings please?

Try clearing your web browsers cache & cookies. Don't use a bookmark, but manually type in the main home page address into your browser - like Google not google.com/forum/... You could also try another browser if you have one installed.
If that doesn't work, then the website may actually be down. You can check that here: Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up?

Thanks for your reply. I can clear the cache, but i have found previously that if i clear the cookies my passwords for sites are no longer saved and i then have to reset the passwords for sites in my bookmarks. I typed Vetproductsdirect.com.au into my browser address bar and logged in but the "Oops" is still there but i`m not sure what you meant there. I tried Internet Explorer but the error "Oops" comes up in there too. I also tried the link by Daifne and it said the site is up.
You can clear just the cookies for that site. Which browser are you using?
If you don't want to remove all your cookies, at least remove any set from vetproductsdirect.com.au/, but do clear your cache. Which browser are you using? The problem has to be on your end because I just opened the site in 4 different web browsers.
Hmmm. I just tried the site and it worked, but when I went to the forum, I got the same error you did. I'm in Firefox. Let me try IE... Nope, not in IE either. The forum must be down. I think the link I gave you is looking at the main site, not just the forum.

Edit: Fred, try the forum link on the top of the page. That's when I got the error.

Firefox 4.
I don't think it's your cookies now since I'm getting the same error and I've never been there before. I really think that their forums are down.
Julie, it's not you. Their forum is down. Or to be more accurate, it's probably misconfigured on their end.

Thanks i rang the Vet products forum again and spoke to another person and she tried it on her computer and got the same message. The person i spoke to earlier didn`t know what she was talking about. Cheers:wave:
