Hi,

How can I create Group Policy in Active Directory, which is Operating system specific.

e.g.

I have create two policies.

I want to apply one policy on only servers running Windows 2000 and another policy on only Windows 2003.

Create two OUs and put the Win2k systems in one, and the Win2k3 systems in the other.

Or you can use WMI Filtering, but it's ignored by Win2k systems. So all GPOs would be applied to Win2k systems, but you can exclude some GPOs from being applied to other systems based on OS, or anything else you can set in a WMI filter
