Opening Compresed Files on my USB opens up a weird message

Everytime i open up a folder full of compressed files on my usb key on my laptop it opens up a weird message saying "Please insert the last disk of the Multi-Volume set and click OK to comtinue" i have no idea what the multi-volume set is :4-dontkno so i just click OK but the message dosen't disapear. i have winzip and winrar installed but i though if i unistalled them the problem would go away but it hasnt. everytime it pops up its really annoying :upset: please help much appreciated

Try opening all the .ZIP and .RAR files stored in your USB key. Delete the rar/zip file that does not open correctly. Most likely, you have tried to add an archive that is too big to fit in the USB key and cancelled the operation and the unfinished file is still in there.
hey, im having a similar problem but mine is with a usb key. it wont let me access the info without inserting the last disk of the multi-volume set. what is it anyway? ive tried to extract the files to various locations but it wont work. i moved it from the uisb key to s desktop but now it saying it is corrupt. help! i have so much stuff in that file that i cant lose
