Hey guys.

Ive got a user that is having some problems accessing *.pdf files from a web page.

He is the only one having the problem therefore its a issue on his local machine.

When he attempts to open the .pdf file the IE window opens and the file loads then the IE window closes. An easy work around is to save the pdf file to your local machine, but I dont want to let this go!

I tried changing the setting in Adobe so that the file should open up adobe reader and not just open in the web page but no luck.

I serched Adobe's site and they dont seem to have an answer. In fact they have no real support for Adobe Reader aside from a forum setup...

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling adobe 7 reader. I checked and found a pervious version of read(6) on the computer, I removed it.

forgot to add that Adobe 6 standard is on the machine as well.
I tried to uninstall this and reinstall and got an error #1306 - This program has exclusive rights to a file and cannot be removed
