Hi,

Ive been trying to use the Windows live Onecare Safety Scanner,

However it never finishes downloading...

If i select a full scan it stays at "Status: Downloading scanning tools"
Downloading 8 of 11 files.

If i select the quick scan it stays at: "Status: Downloading scanning tools"
Downloading 4 of 7 files.

I am on dial up connection BUT have left it for HOURS and it never progresses past these points.

Anyone got any idea why?

I have attempted many times, after fresh reboot and clearing all temps , cookies etc etc.

use the cleanup tool and then try the install
