i have a HP Pavilion 1020n.
ok here is what i know.
i think the onboard graphic card ,that is attached to the motherboard, crashed.
so the pc cant show the video on the monitor.
i want to go into the bios and change the video to the PCI graphics card that i plugged into the pc.
i know that when the pc is booting to press F1, but since i cant see the display i dont know how to get to the part to change the video.

if someone has a HP Pavilion 1020n, can you boot into the bios (setup) and tell me how to navigate key by key to the video section.

Are you sure it's the onboard video? Does the pc boot into windows just w/o display?

When a pci-e card is attached it should display the bios w/o adjusting any setting , the computer may infact just not be posting for another reason.
