Onboard sound help

Hi everyone firstly id like to say hi to everyone im new....just found the forum after searching google for a solution for my issue. Looking forward to picking some brains and getting my system dialed in right.
I have recently built up a pc.....running a foxconn 761GXK8MB-RS mobo i have installed all the drivers but still have no audio just systems sounds....i havent got a clue where to find the audio settings in the bios to see if the on board audio is enabled or not....im hopeing i just have to enable it but its finding it first lol Could really do with some help. im running XP pro with serice pack 3 if that makes a difference...

hi and welcome to TSF try having a read here http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article01-420 this should get you to device manager where you can find your audio driver look for any yellow ! or red x sorry iam working from win7 and cant recall the exact place for audio at the moment
there isnt any yellow ! or red crosses.....what will the on board audio be under on the bios? So i can make sure it is enabled?

hi sorry i dont know which bios nor where in it your drive will be you can find out how to enter the bios for many comps here http://michaelstevenstech.com/bios_manufacturer.htm once your in there use the arrow buttons to navigate forward or back and up and down try the advanced or boot here is one type of bios lay out http://www.computerhope.com/help/phoenix.htm hope this is of some help also read the info on the bottom of your bios page on how to exit
