sorry for double post!!Everytime i try to look at high resolution pics, or even little things like surfing the web while listening to music, the music gets all static sounding & stuff, but the thing is my computer isn't slow its a XP1600+, but i kept my pci video card and have onboard audio. I am thinking its the onboard audio, I need a better card???? is this right???

Check the volume levels to make sure they are not set high. If everything is set around medium and your speakers are set at medium then you could be looking at speakers or sound card. You can also try updating sound drivers.

I have a cdrom and R/W.
Does a manufactor make a dual audio connector to connect to both cdroms. The standard sound card has only one connecter and I want to connect both cdrom audios to that one - is it possible.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Someone does make them I don't know who, but I have seen them around on occasions.
