On-board sound problems

I have just formatted my pc, and now i have no sound, i have been told by a pc world techiction that my pc has the drivers built in, sound chipset everything but for some reason it isnt working, i cant find any drivers for my pc on the HP site.

Im not sure what infomation you would need from me to help, iv been searching the net with my computer model which is T750.uk cant find anything though... tell me what info you would need and ill get it for you...
