Oh my my my NEED HELP SATA

Hi I need some serious help and someone with some patience to help me PLEASE. This is my dilemma I just ordered a brand new system put it together and can't seem to figure out how to setup a non-raid single sata drive. As far as i can tell I have bios setup correctly but if anyone has a link or a way to help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

CASE ASPIRE| XNAVIGTOR SL/BK 500W
MB GIGABYTE GA-8NSLI ROYAL nForce4
2VGA LEADTEK PX6800 GT TDH RTL
P4 Lga775 3.0ghz
WD 300gb Sata

I even went and bought a new 160 gb ide drive and can't get windows to load i am getting non_page_fault errors and it's a brand new installation. if anyone can help Thank you.....

have you loaded the sata driver

I don't know for sure which sata driver to load when you push f6 i have about 20 different options on the bootdrv of the cd do you know which one needs to be used for non-raid sata and what my bios options should be...?

look in your manual for instructions,start at page 85 in your manaul

wierdiest thing I took everything out restarted from scratch and now it works.... all i did was move the ram to the second colored channel weird....
