I can join units to the domain just fine, I do this at each seat rather than create an account for the PC first. However when I go to make a domain account a user on the local computer it only shows the local computer as a rights source instead of the domain as it should.

I've unjoined, rejoin, renamed, reconfigured DNS, and still no such luck.

I can push it by going to the DC and "managing" the computers but that isn't how it should have to be done and I also think some of our other issues here are caused by this problem.

is domain admin listed there in local admin group
Yes it is but the domain is not listed as a location just the local computer is. I can go to the DC and push a domain account to a system through the "Manage" function. It really is an odd set of circumstance. I have unjoined the workstation, changed it's name, rejoined it and not had a thing change outside of the computer name...
