I have Compaq NX7300, every time I plugged the ac adapter, the cpu fan started to rotate automatically. When I press the power on button, the battery led blink 3 time then the notebook goes off. It also powering on and off automatically.

When I used the battery to power on the unit, same problem, it goes off and on automatically.

Can you help me guys what are the defect of my unit?

Are you able to get into BIOS.

Restart your computer and press F2 to get in BIOS.

Did you tried removing and reinserting the Notebook Battery?

Remove the battery and try to boot using AC power.
