I am running an IX38 Quad GT mobo with two PCI-X slots - my graphics card is an Nvidia GTX250 1GB which runs on PCI-X 2.0. I know this is backward compatible with v1.0.

However I have a quick question I have a setting in my AwardBIOS to make the slots either 1.0 or 1.0a compatible. Which do you advise should be set for 2.0? and does it make any difference?

either will be fine. honestly thats a waste of money having that card and not a decent motherboard to fit it. get a new motherboard man
