NVIDIA geforce 9600 GSO, factory reset the computer, now I need to reinstall the card

So, my computer had been acting up lately, more glitches than I could count, so I did what any responsible compaq owner would, and restored the comp to it's factory settings. downside of this is I can't find the cd to install my video card, which is an nvidia 9600 gso 768 mb version. was wondering what the steps I should take in reinstalling this bad boy are, and in what order I should be doing it. It's been a while since I've even opened up the tower however, so I honestly don't know what to do.

Here's what I've come up with so far, please oh please correct me if I'm wrong.

Downloading the drivers from NVIDIA's site...and that's about it. what next?

You can download then install the driver from the Nvidia site.
Kinda figured, just didn't know if there was anything else I'd have to do. I'll post again if I have any other issues
