Hi everybody :

I just did a rebuild of my Windows 7 Professional / 32-bit System. I'm trying to find the most update driver for my NVidia GeForce GT 610 card. Question : Do I have to go into BIOS and manually switch the from the onboard video to the card ? I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H Motherboard.
Thanks,
garystan

With my Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 7 mobo that has no onboard GPU still had the onboard GPU setting enabled. This was due to the CPU I have as it has a built in GPU on the CPU.

So, yes....always go into the BIOS and check/turn off the dedicated GPU when using an add on card.

Usually by default the motherboard will disable the onboard VGA when a card is inserted. If you get video with the monitor plugged into the card, then the VGA is probably disabled, but it doesn't hurt to check the Bios.
