I am running windows seven with a GeForce GTX 460 SE Graphics card and 310.90 Nvidia drivers. Whilst using my computer to browse the internet, watch videos or play games my screen will go black for a second before recovering and displaying a message that says my nvidia drivers have failed and been restarted. This usually only occurs once but some time whilst playing a game, after this has occured, the computer will crash to bluescreen saying the nvidia drivers failed and were unable to be restarted.

Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried rolling back the driver or restoring to a point to before this started occurring ?

NVIDIA have brought out a Beta you could try NVIDIA GeForce Video Card Drivers v313.96 Beta Now Available but create a restore point first.

This has happened on various other versions of Nvidia drivers so I haven't tried to roll back versions. I have installed the Nvidia beta drivers and its seems to have worked but I will continue to test it.

Probably worth keeping an eye on NVIDIA for the final release or any other updates.
