I am having problems removing above virus. Mcafee will remove 'rdriv.sys', but it keeps coming back. I have ran 'Ad-Aware' and 'HijackThis Analyzer' program.
I also tried to upgrade Windows XP 'SP1' to 'SP1a' but keep getting a 'error # 0x80072efd' after I select custom upgrade on Microsoft upgrade site.

Thank You, JKH

Success, Virus Removed, Thank You

I followed your Instructions, and it appears that Virus has been Removed. Computer is running fine. Thank You, JKH

Questions / Differences on removal instructions;
a) HiJackthis Scan did not show 'Q23' entry with 'D1rectX.exe'
b) Could not locate and delete 'OpenGLD.exe' file. Ewido Scan pick file up and cleaned it.
c) During Panda ActiveScan a 'Outlook Profile Window' pop-up. I closed window, which ended the scan. I am not sure if program scanned all the computer files.

Thank You Again, JKH

P2P - I see you have P2P software installed on your machine. We are not here to pass judgment on file-sharing as a concept. However, we will warn you that engaging in this activity and having this kind of software installed on your machine will always make you more susceptible to re-infections. It is certainly contributing to your current situation.

Your logs appear to be clean but I believe that it may be wise to do the Panda scan again.
