Extra info on this http://www.techsupportforum.com/computer/topic/66314-1.html

We came up against this problem this week, however we did not have the 'Windows Kernel' Service in Services

we locked it down to a ServiceMangr (TCPHOST.exe) service

I deleted this service using HiJackthis by deleting 'tcphost.exe' service and all now seems fine. (for now)

Just thought I'd let you know and possibly have it added to the fix

We also used this program to help. - Trojan Remover www.simplysup.com seems like a very good tool to help with Trojans

Better use black light from f-secure too. Short and effective against rootkit infections. Do not delete everything as they might be legitemate. Do a google ( or msn google doesnt come up with a lot of results for some of the infected file names. i know. ) search before deletation.
