There is no difference in type of disk between a standard disk and a DOS bootable disk except for the fact that a DOS disk will have command.com, msdos.sys, and a couple of other basic system files on it. To make a bootable disk, put in a floppy and right click on A:\ when in My Computer. From there, click format and choose the radio button for "Copy system files only". After you hit start and it finishes, you will have a floppy to boot from.
