Hi to all,

i have 16gb thumb drive, i need to convert it from ntfs to FAT, any idea how??

Hi apostate :wave:

It is actually not possible to format your flash drive to the FAT. It might be possible if you try to reformat the drive again, but you might lose all your data.

You can also try to change the partition format using the command line "convert" however it is STRONGLY recommended you back up all the data in your drive before you proceed with this step.

As long as you have the data backed up . . in My Computer, right click on the drive and select format . . you should have a option to choose NTFS or FAT32 . .

This will erase everything on the drive
