I've tried many things to fix this problem but it won't go away, and i don't want to format because i got over 80GB of music :normal: , i would use System Restore, but i disabled it, now its re-enabled so if i fix this problem, i can carry on just using restore functions.

I've seen this error when i try to go into "My Computer" and type items into Internet Explorer, in the address bar, so I've switched to Firefox, even when i use Windows XP search (start->search->files & folders) it freezes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hello, and welcome to TSF.
I researched your problem, and saw this:
"Right click My Computer, click 'properties', select the 'advanced' tab. Click 'environment variables'. if you have a system variable called "NLSPATH" you need to delete it or rename it (select the variable, click edit, and change the name). Note that this might mess up what put NLSPATH there in the first place."
Do you have an AMD proccessor by any chance?

If that doesn't work, download a new dll file from here: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?ntdll, go to start > Run, type "C:/Windows/System32", and replace the NTDLL with the one you have just downloaded.
