Hi Guys,
Lurked here for a while but finally felt compelled to join after suffering a very odd problem for the past 48 hours: Briefly I have two wireless networks from TalkTalk, one is 8mb, the other is 4mb, both of them routed through Belkin F5D9630 routers running the most up to date firmware, I don't run any peer to peer, no MS Messenger, just Outlook and Firefox, I'm strictly business.
So, the day before yesterday I notice my online speed is suddenly very slow, ran a speedtest and got roughly 500 kbps and it's stayed that way, both my routers say the download speeds haven't changed, still 8mb and 4mb respectively, I rang my ISP and they say all is well at their end, spoke to Belkin technical as well and they couldn't help me either. I've run a full virus, malware and spyware scan, cleared my cashes, rebooted both routers, reloaded the firmware, connected both wirelessly and by ethernet cable and nothing changes my speed but my routers still say it's fine and by sons Xbox is quite happy as well.
Anyone got any bright ideas?
