Here's the deal, if I can explain it properly.
NOTHING WILL DOWNLOAD.
The Download box pops up, it says it downloads, it takes time to download, but then, when all is said and done, I can't open the file. It is nowhere on the computer either. It just says it doesn't exist. It doesn't download programs, pictures, updates, nothing. I thought it might be a virus or whatever, but the crap windows virus thing that comes with the computer says nothing (no surprise), and I would get another program except I CAN'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING!!!

I am not a computer person. I'm so lost. Someone please help. :sigh:

Welcome to TSF!!

Hi,

First I would like you to take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. Just let yourself calm down. I would like to know what version of FF you are using? Also, how long has this been happening, did you just install FF or has this been an ongoing problem? Give us as much info as you want and we can see what we can do for you. We will get this fixed for you, but I can't guarantee that it will happen over night.

Cheers!

Hi hgreggs,

Did you check in your settings you've got a download location in:- Tools > Options > Main > Downloads?

You got any Download Programs like FlashGet or similar installed?

I've recently had a similar problem and was hoping for help. The other day I tried updating my version of spybot, however when I downloaded the file it said that it was corrupt and to get it from another source.

I've since found that I can't download anything as the full download never takes place.

I also recently had a problem with Java and the new version of FF. The above problem has arisen since then.

Just to add, I've also tried downloading through IE and had no success.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance........
