Procedure for Notebooks:
Just take a 1.4mb 3 1/2 floppy (nonbootable) and unpack the files to it. Turn off the machine, turn it back on while holding the F12 key or for newer machines, the key left of the space bar, and the rest is automatic. It is best to disconnect all peripherals while doing the update. If you are doing this for the 7010 or the 8000, make sure that the machine is not in the LAN Docker. This could erase your EPROM's.

unpack simply means unzip the .exe file and copy to a blank floppy disk / doesnt even need to be a bootable disk :) yeeeehaw

keep us posted on your progress / dont hesitate to ask questions if needed
