Hi

I have just bought Nortons Internet security 2002

which includes

anti virus
internet privacy
anti hacker type stuff,

I will be installing this on a machine with

256Meg ram (DDR 2100)
Windows XP Hom edition
10 Gig hard drive (Emtpy apart from OS)
Athlon 1.33Ghz Processor

I am interested in knowing how heavy Nortons is on the computers resources, will it slow it down dramatically (I heard this can be the case).

I went for Nortons due to it being a well trusted brand. Is other anti virus software as good as Nortons.

I would have thought it made sense for Anti Virus companies to share their virus information with each other rather than compete but I guess thats business!

Anyway

Thanks in advance for any opinions

I have been using Norton Antivirus for a few years now without any problems. To bad you bought 2002 as 2003 just came out!

Of course I only use the antivirus product so maybe some who has used what you have there can help you better..........:D
