I would suggest that you remove Norton 360 as its firewall, like those found in similar Internet Security products, tend to block local NETBIOS ports which in turn cause Windows 7 system services to hang, then crash. Some even result in BSODs.

Remove N360 with the Norton Removal Tool (NRT); reboot; then install MSE -
