Hi everyone, i need some help here. Recently i have a noise coming from my pc, but not everytime. My pc is still able to function, but at times there is just this irritating noise.

I am still able to play games like Medieval II and warcraft III. However, last night after about 3 hours of warcraft, the noise gradually became louder n my screen was suddenly filled by distortions.

I found out that my system fan was at 0 rpm and i wonder if this is the cause of the noise? However, all the fans (at the back below the PSU, the one for the CPU and the one at the GPU) were spinning. CPU temp was normal (38C). And could the noise lead to the distortions?

Pls provide some help n advice for me. Thanks in advance! Some additional info if it helps:

mobo: gigabyte K8NF-9
casing: Cooler Master Centurion 5
PSU: Cooler Master extreme power 430W

PSU: Cooler Master extreme power 430W
it looks a little on the lightside for a current day computer
check the fans are clean
try and isolate where it is coming from
check there is not a wire touching a fan blade
