My HP ze2315us laptop (running XP) will not connect to internet wirelessly or with ethernet after the ac power connector was replaced. I've gone through the entire troubleshooting process with HP techies to no avail. I used the recovery disk to start over. I replaced the hard drive because it failed the self-test. Used the recovery disk again. The wireless assistant does nothing at all. The radio button does nothing. I've pulled and reinstalled the wireless card several times. I've installed every driver that has anythign to do with the wlan and I've flashed the bios. The Texas Instruments PCI xx21 cardbus driver is showing a problem and I've installed and re-installed the drivers to no avail. I haven't replaced the wireless card. Help.

hi,
so you mean you cannot connect to the internet either wired or wireless, is this correct?
may be it has something to do with device showing a problem in Device Manager.

did you use the recovery CD that came with the laptop to restore? if you see any yellow marks in Device Manager, then it could mean you have some drivers problem. try using the drivers found in HP website for your model here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1127346

i suggest you remove the WiFi card first and address the problems in Device Manager. once you got that out of the way, plug in the WiFi card and install the required wireless driver (HP support site in the link above show Broadcom and Intel drivers).
