Hello. After I upgraded to Service Pack 3 my wireless access kept crashing and I was getting errors. I tried to download a "patch" from Dlink but it didn't go well. So I started from scratch and downloaded the newest driver from Dlink and I reinstalled my card adapter into the computer. I think I did it correctly since I can now see a signal from my router. I can see my name as well as a few in the neighborhood. But I can't connect to it. Here's some additional info that may help you give me direction.

So when I click "Repair" (Wireless Network Connection 2) is says: "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action coudld not be completed: Renewing Your IP address

When I go into Control Panel > Network Connetions there are 4 options:

1) Local Area Connection: Connected, Firewalled -- Intel Pro 100 ...
2) LAC 3: disabled, firewalled -- cysco systems vpn...
3) LAC 2: Network cabled unplugged, firewalled, TAP WIN 32...
4) Wireless Network Connection 2: Not connected, firewalled, Dlink Airplus...

I assume #4 is mine.

Status: Limited to No connectivity

Properties: Everyting is checked

Properties (again): RPC Service with 2 drop downs: Windows Locator and DCE Cell Directory Service

When I try to connect to my router it is asking for a WEP or WPA key. It even has a default WEP key and when I try it it says Connected! but I can't get a browser (and there's still a red X on my computer incon in my tray). Then I try to change the key to a passowrd I thought it was and the same exact thing happens.

Thank you for suggestion. I'm a beginner.
