hi i have just reinstalled xp on a hp computer a little old so i thought this would help, and it did running like new but NO Sound i have tried loads of things to make it work just doesnt want to happen so i would like to no if buying a sound card would solve the problem. any help ill be very happy cheers ....

you need to download the drivers/find the disk given to you from HP and install those
